Speech Anatomy & Physiology
During this course, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the intricate relationships between the respiratory, laryngeal, articulatory, and deglutative systems. It equips me with the skills to identify normal and abnormal functions across these systems and tailor interventions accordingly.
Neural Basis of Communication
I gained insights into the cerebral cortex, vascular supply, and the consequences of cerebral vascular events, which are vital for understanding the impact of strokes and other neurological disorders on speech and language.
